US, India sign agreement to build six nuclear power plants

(Muslim Times) – United States and India have signed an agreement to build six nuclear power plants, the two countries said in a joint statement.

The United States under President Donald is selling more energy products to energy-hungry India despite its continuous violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir.

The talks were held between Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhaleand Andrea Thompson, the US undersecretary of state for arms control and international security.

“They committed to strengthen bilateral security and civil nuclear cooperation, including the establishment of six US nuclear power plants in India,” the joint statement said.

Moreover, the statement gave no further details of the nuclear plants project.
