ISLAMABAD (Muslim Times) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday demanded immediate approval of constitutional amendment for approval of Federal Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) merger with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
As per details garnered, the session of PTI’s parliamentary leaders was held here at Bani Gala today.
PTI’s spokesperson—in a statement after completion of meeting—accused PML-N incumbent government of delaying FATA reforms to pacify its allies. “The responsibility of delay in FATA reforms stands with Nawaz Sharif, Fazalur Rahman and Mahmood Achakzai”, stated Fawad Chaudhry.
Ch held that FATA was facing myriad challengers owing to power and security vacuum. “Had FATA been made part of KPK, country would have been remained stable today”, asserted Chaudhry.
