ISLAMABAD (Muslim Times) – Supreme Court (SC) has reserved verdict on Monday on railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique’s appeal over NA-125 rigging case.
The top court reserved the verdict today after 19 hearings over federal minister’s appeal.
Counsel for Saad Rafique maintained that the Returning Officer (RO) did not receive any complaint over alleged changes in polling scheme and no evidence to back allegations of rigging came to light.
Hamid Khan of the opposition party filed a plea to change the polling staff, he said, and added that no objection over alleged misplacement of 24 Form-15 was made before the election tribunal.
The apex court reserved verdict in the case today.
