LAHORE ( Muslim Times) – Security of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore office has been beefed up on Friday to meet any untoward incident, Dunya News reported.
Rangers have taken the responsibility of the security of the NAB office in the wake of threats from some quarters. Additional contingent of Rangers has been deployed inside and outside of the vicinity for security purposes.
Nab sources informed that important evidences regarding Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme are currently at the NAB Lahore offices while former head of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahad Cheema has also been kept at the NAB jail.
Sources further stated that additional Rangers force was deployed over reports that some miscreants might damage the record of Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme.
