Kashmir Day being observed today against Indian brutality

LAHORE ( Muslim Times) – Kashmir Day is on Monday (today) being observed in Pakistan and across the world to express solidarity with Kashmiris who are suffering at the hands of Indian Army.

The purpose of this day is not only to raise voice against Indian brutality in the occupied land of Kashmir, but also to highlight their victimization in front of international community.

On this day, people of Pakistan make human chain by joining hands at all entry and exit points that link Kashmir with Pakistan, and conduct rallies across the country to express solidarity.

Kashmir Day was first observed on February 5, 1990 after then prime minister Benazir Bhutto announced to practice it on national level upon Qazi Hussain Ahmad’s appeal.
