PFPA expresses concerns on film festival in Karachi

LAHORE (Muslim Times) Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) has expressed concerns over non-inclusion of films from all parts of the country in the planned “international film festival” being held in Karachi.

The meeting was chaired by PFPA Chairman Syed Noor.

Talking to APP, Syed Noor said that the owner of an entertainment channel based in Karachi, Sultana Siddiqui, has formed the Pakistan Film Society, which has planned to hold the film festival in the last week of February.

He regretted that the film society had not included the films produced in Punjab, which had been the centre of film-making in the country.
