Remaining silent against injustice is oppression itself, says Kamal

LAHORE – Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal said on Saturday that remaining silent against injustice is oppression itself.

PSP chief expressed his views while talking to media in Lahore and said 14 citizens were martyred in Model Town incident, and announced that his party stands with the families of victims.

He maintained that Justice Baqir Najfi’s report has exposed those who were behind the heinous act, and demanded the authorities to take action against the responsible persons.

Mustafa Kamal said the strategy for future will be decided in the All Parties Conference (APC) today. Talking about the next general elections, Kamal said his party will not make alliance with any other political force. Any association will be possible only after the elections.

It is worth mentioning here that PSP chief has arrived in Lahore to attend the APC arranged by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to formulate a joint strategy against the government on the issue of Model Town tragedy.

Opposition parties including Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Awami Muslim League (AML), Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), Sunni Ittehad Council, Sunni Ittehad Council, Majlis-e-Wehdatul Muslimeen (MWM) and Ulema Mashaikh Council will attend the meeting.
