Although Tubelight had a formidable opening on Eid, the movie could only gross almost INR 65 crores movie opened on a decent note considering the pre-Eid factor. It opened with INR 21.15 crore and gave some hopes to grow over the weekend. But the movie only managed to gross Rs 64.77 crore during the initial one week which is unusual for Salman Khan standards.

Moreover, the distributors of Jab Harry Met Sejal are anticipating similar gesture from Shah Rukh Khan as his movie also failed to make big success. Film collections of JHMS have crashed, claimed the analyst.
