Pakistan-India CT clash sets record turnout of spectators at Edgbaston

BIRMINGHAM  – The Champions Trophy clash between Pakistan and India has set a record turnout of spectators at Edgbaston.

As per statistics, 24156 fans witnessed the match at Birmingham’s Edgbaston Cricket Stadium, which is a new record. Previously, the stadium, which has the capacity of 25000 people, did not ever cross the tally of 23500.

People in large number were also present outside the stadium, and millions of viewers saw the live action on TV and internet across the globe.
