Addressing a laptop distribution ceremony at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, CM said that “if Khan’s allegation of offering him Rs 10 billion as a bribe is proven true then the nation should not pardon me.” He said Supreme Court (SC) would take up the matter and declare him honest if Khan’s claim will turn out to be wrong.
It is pertinent to mention here that Imran Khan alleged Shehbaz Sharif’s close ally of offering him Rs 10 billion bribe to stay silent on Panama Leaks case.
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz has challenged Imran Khan to unveil the name of the man who offered him Rs 10 billion as bribe. He has also warned Khan to not take u-turn like he has taken in the past and make the name public.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also demanded proper investigation into PTI chief Imran Khan’s claim. Senator Saeed Ghani urged Imran Khan to disclose the name of the man who had offered him Rs10 billion to keep quiet over Panama Leaks case as it is not a small amount.
