Pakistan set 260 run target for Zimbabwe

HARARE: Pakistan have set a 260 run target for Zimbabwe in the first one-day international at Harare Sports Club on Thursday.

Zimbabwe won the toss and put Pakistan into bat first. The men in green lost quick wickets at the top. Azhar Ali fell for 10, Ahmed Shahzad for 12 and Muhammad Hafeez for 10.

Muhammad Rizwan (75 not out) and Imad Wasim (61) helped guide Pakistan to 259/6.

The three-match series was preceded by two Twenty20 internationals at the same venue, which were both won by Pakistan.


Zimbabwe: Brian Chari, Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza Butt, Elton Chigumbura (capt), Richmond Mutumbami (wk), Luke Jongwe, John Nyumbu, Graeme Cremer, Tinashe Panyangara.

Pakistan: Azhar Ali (capt), Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Aamer Yamin, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Irfan.
